Next force wipe in

On the first Thursday of every month Facepunch ships a Rust update that changes the map generation seed format, which forces every server to generate a new map. Server owners cannot opt out — this is the one wipe that happens everywhere at once.

Force wipe is also when most servers clear blueprints. A normal weekly wipe usually resets the map and your buildings but leaves what you have researched; on force wipe most servers take blueprints too, so everyone starts the tech tree from zero. That is why force-wipe day is the busiest day of the Rust month, and why servers that are dead by week three fill up again.

Not every server wipes blueprints — some advertise “no BP wipe” to keep progression. WipeRadar labels a wipe as a blueprint wipe when it lands on force-wipe day or the server says so, and marks that estimate as such rather than presenting it as confirmed.
